Not feeling Christmas

So it is 9 days until Christmas Day and I am just not feeling it this year maybe because my favourite boy is a 12 hour drive away or maybe it is just the lack of funds this year.

2017 has been a pretty draining year so I am hoping 2018 will be a better year!

Anyhoo I am going to sit back and relax before my busy week starts tomorrow swinging the pick at work! Not literally lol I dont think I could actually swing a pick effectively anymore!

I am currently working on a baby blanket for a friend and a cross stitch stitch along with several other projects waiting to start.

Heaven is a Crochet Hook

I can think of nothing better then crocheting if my hands are idle I love to pick up a hook and do some crochet.

At the moment I am crocheting a pretty baby shawl or a friend whose by is due in August I have already made the little beanie that goes with it I will post a photo when I am done.

My house has bags and boxes of wool all over the place I can't wait until we an afford a larger house so I can have my vey own craft room! Every time I see some pretty wool or if there is a sale on I just can't resist it!

I have enough projects lined up for the next I've years lol

Lazy Sunday's are the best days pancakes for breakfast and a Sunday drive topped off with an afternoon of knitting and face booking relaxing before my hectic week starts tomorrow
